Shaun Carlin

Shaun was a person that touched many lives both young & old, he had respect & appreciation for all,
& he really did follow through with the morale of 'Respect your Elders'. He was a family orientated
and very much a family man. He kept his life full with running a business with his dad, being the
vice President at the Lowerhouse Canteen, helping at the Lowerhouse Cricket Club & various charity
events. He was so proud to have served his Queen & Country and follow in the family footsteps.
Shaun was a devoted lads lad and told his wife that this came with his personal profile. He loved to
laugh and be the clown, dressing up at various occasions and loved otherS to laugh with him. Once
you met Shaun you could never forget him and like Elvis we will always believe he lives on.

Our Son

Words can not begin to describe the love that we have for you son, you were our world. You were a
mummy's boy and always kept me busy in the kitchen and kept dad on his toes. You were you’re dads
son, best friend and business partner, but most of all, our blue eyed boy. You our world always have
been and always will be.

My Husband

You were the one and only man that made me feel so safe and happy you were my soul mate, there
wasn’t anything that couldn’t be worked out and the most important thing for me Darling, is
knowing that I was the only woman you wanted to come home to. Just sometimes getting you to put your
pint down and come home could be hard work. Im sure you ,,thought that the pub would fall down if
you left the bar.
You provided for the both of us, so well, not just financially bit with fun, love, laughter,
strength, tickles and most importantly ‘smuggles’. Little girl Jaidee is missing you and pining
for you and missing her daddy.

My Brother

You have always been there for mean took me wherever you went; you are the apple of my eye. I can
not begin to think where my life carries on without you in it; I know you will always be with me and
guide me to where I am going. You were a farther figure to my precious son and I know you will
always be with him too. Even through my younger & older years, I have been your tag along and you
have always kept me feeling so safe, you haven’t just been my brother; you have been my best
friend and strength. I now forgive you for all the times you grassed me up and shot me with your
pellet gun, it will always be me and you against the world our kid.

My Uncle

Shaun idolised Logan & Logan idolised Shaun, so much so that naughty uncle Shaun taught Logan his
1st swear word and found humour in doing so. However, he also taught Logan to give the puppy dog
eyes when he got told off for these naughty things & turned Logan into a mini Shaun. I will miss you
Uncle Shaun, you and your hat.


My Family

Shaun was so proud to be a Carlin, his Uncles, aunts & cousins were always at the forefront of his
mind. He would want them to know what they meant to him & understand how important they were in his
life.

His Friends

For all his friends Shaun was someone who you could rely on, he was the man who can! A genuine lad
who never failed to raise a smile, so so funny, the life & soul if any party. A friend like Shaun
can never be forgotten or replaced, one of a kind in so many ways that words will never be able to
describe.

And Finally

Shaun you are a much loved Son, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, Godfather, and friend to
all, you will be missed more than words can say and never forgotten.

From being a young lad Shaun thought he was the star of the show, it turns out he really was.
